It's clear the Cubs can't consistently do enough things well to get on any sort of extended run, which was the only way they were going to make the playoffs.

I realize that I always assume the Brewers are winning the World Series, but how in the world are they not grabbing one of the wild cards or even the division? Everyone behind them is not a real threat, and the Cubs suck. Hell, the Nationals have a tough sked the rest of the way. The Cardinals sort of do, although they get seven against us.

St. Louis is winning the pennant, and the only reason they might not win the title is because Houston's cheating asses are so good. It's the hellscape ending this stupid franchise deserves after last off-season.
