The story on this one was Joe approached Heyward about hitting leadoff. Heyward in the past has struggled at leadoff and he believes it’s due to not taking consistent ABs to get into a groove. So he told Joe he would move to leadoff but to be patient - if he struggled out out of the gates he didn’t want to worry about getting a quick trigger or something
