Game. Hamels hasn’t been good for awhile now, we should probably worry about that.

Where was his injury? After the 3rd zero, right? He’s been sharp in maybe one start since.

He's had 1 good and 1 bad start since coming off the IL

Post oblique injury Hamels is not good. He was getting shelled in Texas after the same injury.

He threw 5 inning, 0 ER in his first start off the IL

This defies all logic. There is no horsefeathering way that the Cubs should be the worst team in baseball on the road. Every series I expect it to turnaround

Doesn’t matter, his stuff is clearly a tick down. Velo is down, location and command is a mess.

I'm not saying he's good, but I'm sensitive to SSS after the nightmare that was Edith Cox

This is clearly an eye test thing over stats. His stuff sucks and the velo is down. He isn’t topping 91 and the command/location is all over the place.

Speaking of eye tests, it appears the Cubs will never be able to score a decent amount of runs without hitting home runs, and I loathe every second of it.

Spot on. No matter how good the pitching is, this offense is completely binary.

I am too lazy to check, but this feels like the third or fourth game in the past two weeks where the Cubs have just gotten totally blown out in the first three innings or so. That's really bad. Of course, it might not be true, but if it is, that's really bad.
