Playing Russell over Happ was a criminally bad decision by the FO this year.

 

Question I don't have the answer to. Did Happ really need to work on things, and did he work on those things and that's why he's productive so far? Or is Ian Happ the same Ian Happ as he's always been and should have been up here the whole time if he's up here now?

The Giants had a good run before the deadline, and are already back to reality this month. The Reds aren't a good team and are in 4th in this mediocre division and are only close to .500 due to owning us, the Cardinals would need to drop the next 5 games to the Reds to be as bad as we are. It would be cool if they could help, but you are going to be severely let down if you are expecting any kind of real help from those teams going forward.
