Watching Rizzo run the bases is hilarious. Even when he doesn’t horsefeathers up you can see him thinking about making disastrous choices

Why the horsefeathers are they bunting with the bases loaded. I know Q sucks at hitting but I’d rather him take 4 balls or 3 strikes from the guy who just drilled a player of ours in the head than put one in play

Unbelievably, Brewers lose again.

That’s what makes this so infuriating. If the Cubs were just playing decent, they’d be 2-3 games up. If they were playing well, they’d be 5-6. It’s not like the Brewers are on pace for 95 wins where if we were playing well, we’d be tied or a game back. The division is there for the taking and the Cubs won’t take it.

Are there bigger headhunters in the league than the horsefeathering pirates?

They weren't headhunting in a 2 run game with the bases loaded, that's dumb

So that was Joe’s attempt at “lighting a fire” under the team? Seemed pretty canned.

I wasn’t watching the game, so grain of salt ... but Joe has always been pretty hot headed about beanballs.

Clint Hurdle is a red ass piece of horsefeathers.

Is Bote still in the game? I didn't see the pitch that hit him in the head? Did it barely graze his helmet or make only slight contact?

It made pretty strong contact imo. It hit him basically where the C is on the helmet if I recall correctly, but he was turning away from the pitch when it struck so it probably lessened some of the blow
