With it being a Sunday night game, and an off day on Monday, and that he didn't play on Thursday, I'm down with Willy starting.

Plus Davis seems to be Yu’s personal catcher now, so Willy will have off like Wednesday or Thursday in Cincy too. Seems like either tomorrow or Tuesday would be a good day to give Javy off to double dip rest and same with Bote and the toe.

Brewers fans on twitter are so antagonistic toward Cubs fans. One was trying to argue that Cubs fans booing Braun are hypocrites because Russell is still on the Cubs. I tried to break down the massive lapse in logic but the person couldn’t understand why they aren’t the same thing.

 

Yesterday one was arguing that the Cubs suck and the only reason their record is good is because they’ve had an easy schedule. I mentioned that the Brewers had played 24 of their 39 games at home and their response was something about how the Brewers play just as well on the road so it doesn’t matter. I mean they are under .500 on the road and their best players splits look like he should be on the Rockies but whatever.

 

Anyways the lesson is I waste too much effort responding to Brewers fans who are not the brightest.

Anyways the lesson is I waste too much effort responding to Brewers fans who are not the brightest.

 

Brewers fans have spent the better part of the last two seasons peddling the notion that the Cubs are some sort of big market villain to be toppled by them, the heroic small market protagonists, and if that notion is a drug, they're all high on their own supply. I look forward to the day they return to deserved irrelevance, the natural state of their Mickey Mouse franchise.
