I hope the Bears get absolutely annihilated.

now this is my brand of erratic anger

Oh, it's very consistent; he'll I'd probably want them to lose even more if I was riding high off of a satisfying Cubs win right now.

Game likely to be called, Cubs will lose game over. Then most likely a rain out tomorrow.

So looking at a 2 or 3 game lead heading into the series Monday depending on what the Brewers do tomorrow.

I would like a rainout, the Brewers lose, we then sweep and lead by seven in the loss column by Wednesday night.

But we were supposed to be rained out of at least one game today, if not both. And then when it started raining in the 6th today, it wasn’t supposed to stop.

We all have our blind spots. Yours is wrapped in a lack of understanding of hockey and, well, living in the beltway. As for the Bears, its easy to question your sanity being a Cubs fan and not a Bears fan. Some loooong explanation I’m sure, but 98% irrelevant, 2% theatrical exuberance for you and like 5 other people on earth.

Go enjoy hurricane Florence.

Yeah, at this point I just want tomorrow rained out early on. Then there's not a game until Monday night and they're back home. Get back to Wrigley still in first regardless of the Brewers winning or losing last night night, and then take care of business knowing there's a normal off day finally at the end of that series.

There's no long explanation: horsefeathers football, and double horsefeathers the Bears for wasting everyone's time by being a hilariously incompetent organization in a trash sport.

Fortunately, more and more people are coming to their senses at least towards the former.

Just call this game now as well as tomorrow. Head home tonight, and not go back to DC unless game is necessary to play on October 1st. The rain extends all the way to Indiana

the reality is that it has been a fine road trip, the stupid ass brewers are just hot again

I think everyone would have been happy with 6-5 which if my some miracle they play tomorrow they can still attain. Brewers will cool off when they hit the road, plus we are in Chicago for all but 3 games to finish the season

Yeah, the earlier post about how the Brewers need to play if the Cubs only go .500 the rest of the way combined with looking at the calendar has me much less annoyed.

Next step is just one of Bryant, Russell or Contreras figuring it out.

I wouldn’t mind the lead off guy making Holland throw two strikes before offering at a pitch.

Holland didn’t even give himself the chance to throw two pitches to Willy.
