That's good, but I feel like any TE that catches a TD this year is going to automatically get best TE of the week accolades.

We have really played our best games against some of the best teams in the league.

 

Beat the Panthers (7-3) & Steelers (8-2)

 

Dropped the GW TD against the Falcons (6-4), blew the Vikings (9-2) game in the final few minutes, and had every chance to steal one against the Saints (8-2)

 

It would be great to keep the Eagles in check, at least.

This is really good. Solak does really good draft work too. Whereas Pedersen's comments on Mitch included a lot of fluff, this is an unbiased breakdown of things Trubisky does well, and does not and how it compares to Wentz as a rookie.

I was so close to pointing out the Bears were 5th in the NFL in rushing yards and YPA earlier this week.

Now that was....Something. I hope they lose out at this point. I wouldn't say that if I thought Trubisky was going to have a true shot at getting better between now and then, but I don't think he will. Not even a knock on him, he WAS awful today, but with the playcalling and the receivers, him finishing the year healthy is enough for me. Get him some weapons and hope he's much better next year. Losing out may give us a shot at getting a nice trade back scenario.
