For some reason I always group the McPhee, Freeman and Hicks signings together even though they happened over 2 offseasons. I think because they all were guys who were not impact guys out of the draft and either took a few years to become starter quality or were excelling in part time roles which allowed the Bears to get all 3 at a decent price. All 3 of them have performed well when they are on the field but McPhee's knees will never hold up (which was why the Bears were able to snag him) and Freeman can't stay out of PED jail. Hicks has obviously worked out and then some.

the bears have one recognizable face and he's the backup QB

I can also Cleary name/ID Mitchell Trubisky, Kyle Long, Hronis Grassu, and Leonardo.

Also I'm staring at Luigi and the best guess I can come up with is David DeJesus, which I realize makes no sense.

Oh duh, and Luigi is Sanchez.

(I had to go to Lenos Instagram and look it up)

Also featured... Kush (Jason), Unrein, Leno, Daniel Brown (Leonardo), Whitehair. Still can't figure out for sure the big dude in the prison jumpsuit(guessing Sowell or Compton). Unrein crashing the o-line/QB party.

I'd give up a 2 or 3 for a 24 year old Landry.

he's a free agent in the offseason...are the dolphins expected to franchise him?

Any chance we daringly trade for TY Hilton? And what would you give up?

With the Bears 3-5 and 1 win in the conference and already losing tiebreakers to Atlanta, NO and halfway to losing to GB and MIN, our odds arent that great of making the playoffs. If Hilton is available and the price is right of course I'd love to grab him and give him an extra half season of working with Mitch. But if we have to pay a premium to get him in season (and thus far, trades made have given no evidence that an in-season premium exists), I'd take my chances in the offseason where there will be multiple ways to improve the WR position.
