Fuckin Kelli, man... that's exciting. Good eye, not totally lacking for contact, power is existent, plus plus speed, and I have to think with stealing high volume efficiency like that he gets excellent leads and jumps. The whole league knows he's green lit and they can't catch him. This guy has a high ceiling.

Fernando Kelli has 47 stolen bases in 50 games. The next-highest in the DSL is a guy with 26 stolen bases.

Kelli also leads the DSL in on-base percentage (.470) and is 10th in slugging (.492). He's third in OPS at .962.

Fernando Kelli is also 2 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier than what he is listed in my Cubs media guide. The media guide lists him as one of the Cubs 2016 (lower dollar figure) signings.

Welcome to the board!

Out of curiosity, how do you know his current actuals?

Thank you. I have been lurking for about 8 years, but never felt wise enough to contribute to the board. As a matter of fact, I have used this board to pick up Sabermetric knowledge. My only contribution could be low A players, as I go to about 10 Kane County Cougars and 10 South Bend SilverHawk/Cubs games a year. I have no special insight: I never coached, and didn't play beyond High School

Kelli is listed on Milb.com as 6'0" and 180 pounds--the Cubs media guide for this year lists him (I presume from when they signed him) as 5' 10" and 155 pounds. Oh, and just to make Tom smile, he is listed as a switch hitter.

I say a good bit of unwise stuff but some members still treat me with a dash of decency. Don't worry about that crap and join in whenever you want to. There's a lot of great discourse happening on this site.

Well, welcome to the board. Please post more often!

Welcome, Pat! Keep posting!

Just so there's no confusion from that media guide, Kelli was a part of the 2015 IFA class but signed in January of '16.
