I just think with the money invested in him they might stash him in the bullpen once he comes off the DL. Rather have Rob Z though.

Now that I'm sitting here watching Starlin being awesome and our pitchers looking old as time, I'm getting really annoyed at how awful Warren was as a Cub.

don't worry starlin being awesome won't last very long

i mean that was obviously going to happen but starlin sucks and he will suck again

He's only making 3.5 million, that's barely middle reliever money. If they let that keep him in the pen(which is a bad idea, his problem is not repeat trips through the order and his repertoire is poorly suited for a pen transition) I'm going to be even more upset than when they let it keep Montgomery out of the rotation to start the year.

The Cubs just need to find someone they can rally around with their pure hatred a la David Ross and the fire will be back.

Hey Mojo, remember to consult your doctor if your erection lasts more than 4 hours

He'll dong next time.

The baseball gods (y'know, the OLD ones) are spiting David for his hubris. STARLIN IS ALL.

man, this season has a bit of an 2009 vibe...i really hope we get to dominating soon.

Kind of the opposite. In 2009, we were fresh off an epic let down, and hoping for Milton Bradley to somehow be the magic piece that brings the puzzle together. This has more of a they just won the horsefeathering World Series and are capable of winning a few more. I mean it would be nice to see our starting pitchers getting rocked a little bit less, but all in all, it's a completely different feeling. Like, a lot.

i pretty much meant mediocre but technically good year following a really good one. obviously 2016 was better than 08 and i think well be fine this year, just off to a blah start.

When the pitcher lets our defense play, we do ok. When the pitcher allows screaming line drive hits all over the field....
