by the way, nowhere did i state that hendricks doesn't rely on his defense and isn't helped by a great one. that wasn't the point at all. the point was exactly what i said in the original post.

I didn't respond to your post but to the guy who posted his FIP as if that showed what an idiotic statement Sharma made. I don't know or especially care about Sharma or his opinions, honestly, so it doesn't bug me. I think if you wanted to pull up a weak contact rate you could make an argument. But pointing out FIP just shows that he benefits from his defense.

Also seriously its impossible to go an entire game against the Mets without their catcher doing damage. So far the catchers have RBIs for 4 of the 5 runs the Mets have scored this series.

Flores HR is the only run the Mets scored on Monday

Their backup douche had the game winning RBI yesterday

Flores HR drives in the only 2 runs the Mets scored today

Kalish out for year . . . is he still on the Cubs?

He claimed on a MiLB deal during the season I think? He's been at Iowa.

He played 7 MLB games for the Cubs this year. btw, didn't Edwards debut last year?

Right, he was up during the Nationals series, I was trying to say that he started at Iowa before that brief stint(and after too).

And yes, Edwards debuted last year, I should've said 2016 debut.

I can't think of any of their relievers right now. Who would a bullpen guy be?

Paxton?

Oh, I thought he was a starter. I know nothing of this team, apparently.

He has been. I just said that because he was listed as a possible target in the Pomeranz deal - throw him in pen for the rest of this year and then try to fix him as a starter. Cishek is also a possibility or Wilhelmsen. Lefties are Montgomery, Nuno, or LeBlanc.
