is it just me or does CSN Pitch Trax not seem totally accurate? (i realize it's not 100 percent accurate but it seems like it's just "off")

Agreed. Liriano had a pitch right down the middle that was a strike on pitch trax but not as good as he threw it.

Keep backing up in that batter's box, J-Hey.

*disclaimer: i'm the farthest thing from a hitting coach*

it really does make sense. he was getting tied up, rolling over balls/ etc. back up in the box and let his arms get extended. in my opinion it wasn't that he was behind inside fastballs, just weak contact. he was plenty of opposite field power so it's not as if he can't still punch the outside pitch to LF/gap (plus he has an excellent eye at the plate).

then again it could just be my eternal optimist
