My solution to you thinking that an at bat in a May game against the Padres while in first place by a landslide is somehow going to cause a seismic shift in what theo epstein's front office thinks about a player? I'm not sure.

 

 

Of course the intelligent thing to do is evaluate the player over time, but individual moments do stick in the memory of people.
