Herrera seems like the only non tender to me.

By rule Wood can't make less than 6.6 in arbitration, so it's a little odd to me that he'd agree to 6.4, but maybe he'd struggle to get that if non-tendered and it's 200k so who cares in the big picture.

Is that true? I thought the only definite was that if you tender the player, you have to offer him at least 80% of last season's salary or 70%(I'm guessing, it may be 75%) of his last 2 seasons?

Yeah I might be misremembering something else, the thought in my head was he was guaranteed a 15% bump but I can't find that documented.

Do we have to still pretend Jacob Turner is a thing?

He's a pitcher, odds are he'll throw up a weird ass great season at some point.

Depending on overall roster outlook it may not be worth the roster spot to find out. One of the things about sucking is it was easy to give roster spots to the next diamond in the rough.

cogs will be a [expletive] bargain

If those figures wind up correct, to piece together a 25 man roster of controllable guys will put us around 121 million.

Assuming we can get something decent for Cogs, our best option may be to trade him, Wood, and Castro. That'd save 17.3 off that figure and give us some cheap options that'll help allow for a big FA guy.

That. Or we keep most of them and PTR spends some of the extra revenue the team earned this year with spiked attendance (and playoff revenue ) on a big FA.

I get ~113 million for a 25 man roster of controlled guys.

Hmm, I added 10 to the SP's somehow. Can't add. Now I've got 36.15 for position guys.(6) 40.9 for SP's(4) 16.8 for 5 bullpen guys, 13.2 for Jackson and Concepcion. That's 107.05, plus 500k for 10 more pre arbs, for 112.05. That's much better.

If they were to get a big FA, isn't he the odd man out? Unless they spend big on someone that can play CF or they try to make Schwarber a catcher.
