I didn't want this post to get lost in the wild card thread. (Down with megathreads!) Other people are free to use this thread to schedule their own watch parties, if, like me, you weren't cool enough to be invited to the robot's.

I'm going to Dexter's in Madison to watch the game Wednesday. If anybody else in the Madison area wants to watch the game. I assume there other people from Madison on here.

If anyone is in the DFW area I am getting together with about 5-6 fellow Cubs fans at 54th Street in Irving (635 just west of MacArthur). I talked to the GM there on Thursday and he said they'd put the sound on for us. They should also be able to put the Blackhawks game on too, though I'm not going to worry about that at all.

Anybody want to drive to Pittsburgh from STL with me on Wednesday?

My son has an interview at Carnegie Melon on Weds. but I can't take him because I have field hockey games on Tuesday and Thursday so my wife is taking him. Not that I could have gotten tickets anyway- at least that's what I'm telling myself.

The fact that there's a Cubs game watch in the Busch Stadium ballpark village is terrific.

where are you in western Michigan? my parents moved by st. joseph and there's a cub's themed bar and grill in that area. I'm not going there for a watch party, but in theory that should be a fun place to watch the game

Ct, you think there will be volume at that place?

Not sure and do you mean Kellys or Triona's? I know Kelly's is quality and a huge baseball pub from past visits. It'll certainly be the only thing on. Also, out of curiosity, why do you ask?

EDIT: Just realized that was before the Triona's post. I have no idea about volume there. Just know it's a solid Chicago bar.

It'd be cool if the telecast gave us some bar cut-ins like they do during the world cup, among other events.

you'll get plenty of that for the post game celebration

North of Muskegon, so well north of St. Joe. I actually almost interviewed for a job there before I found out which company owned the paper.

My little town of 9,000 folks is having a cubs watch party at a local joint. . . .orchestrated by me. . . . .expecting a surprisingly large crowd.

Hell, there's another guy in town that scored NLDS tickets.
