Man heading into this season I was just excited about likely being competitive and maybe being in the WC race. Here we are at 94 wins with the possibility of 97. Unbelievable.

 

Yeah, if you had told me before the year that the Cubs playoff fate was decided with over a week to go, I would have assumed they were about a .500 team and some other team was doing what we're doing. I figured if they got in, we'd at least have to sweat out the last few games.

I hope the Reds at least take 1 of the first 2 and the Cubs take care of business so there is something to play for on the last day at least.

 

I'm pretty sure the Pirates will have Cole, Liriano and Burnett going so it will be a tall order.

He's not a rookie, but the one benefit of him being terrible and being sent back down is that he is now in their class, according to service time. So I am just gonna pretend that he is a rookie, so I can lump them all together.
