It's funny last year around this time Javy was the first of the new wave to come up with such hoopla and fan fare. Flash forward a year, pretty much the entire wave is up except Javy and while I definitely want him up its like icing on the cake as opposed to the savior he was a year ago

Javy took a walk in his last at bat. Finished 4/4 with a double, 2 singles and a HR. Swing looked great in the couple at bats I watched seemed much more controlled front foot was quiet. He took a big swing at a fastball up and in during the walk at bat and was visibly pissed at himself for having swung at it. Spat at a low and away pitch for ball 4.

According to Iowa box score, Javy played 3rd base tonight. Is it a coincidence or could they be prepping him for call up to play there with Bryant moving to RF while Soler is out?

 

Then again, they could use him at 2nd and move Coghlan to RF.
