well i'm glad i passed out around 10. instead of being super pissed off about a late loss, i'm a little frustrated about a loss and enjoyed a kyle schwarber dong highlight. the russell triple and catch were cool too. and the schwarbs assist.

But for whatever concern I have about Hammel - it's equally stupid to have that concern about Bryant. He's OPSing 950 in August and has a 3.5 WAR for the year. Jeez.

I love how the unbeatable at home juggernaut cardinals play 2 games against pitchers we just beat up and score 2 runs total in those games.

I'm not even mad about this game. Cubs hitters pounded bad Tigers pitching like they should. I'm concerned about Hammel more than anything.

My only concern is losing 1.5 games to the Pirates and Giants over the last 3 days. I don't doubt the Cubs will play well but other than the sweep by the Cubs the Giants are handling their "impossibly tough schedule" quite well going 6-2 in the other games
