DBacks have bases loaded in the 10th with 1 out. Batter hits one deep for a walk off hit, but the runner on 1st never touches 2nd, and the runner on 2nd never touches 3rd (they both run to celebrate). The outfielder throws the ball in to the second baseman who tags 2nd.

Meh, I'd like to see the Pirates lose, but it's hard for me to muster up too much emotion over them. I don't particularly care if the WC game is at Wrigley or PNC.

So the Cubs go 10-1 and gain only 2 games each on the Cardinals and Pirates.

 

If both those teams went 5-6 instead of 8-3 we'd be 1/2 behind the Pirates and 5 1/2 behind the Cardinals.
