Obviously, but "the future is never promised" is a pretty sweeping statement.

Indeed, and if I get concrete information the Cubs could've done more by not giving up pieces of this year's team at the deadline I'll shred them. Like I said, though, the fact neither of their big targets were moved to anyone would suggest the price was high and 2015 Cubs players would've had to be moved to get them.

HOW DOES THAT TEAM HAVE 60 WINS ALREADY

LOOK AT THAT ROSTER. TWO OF THEIR BEST PLAYERS HAVE MISSED CONSIDERABLE TIME.

40-16 at home. jesus [expletive] christ.

on pace for 104 wins. that roster has no [expletive] business approaching that.

Yeah there's no way the Cubs were going to beat Toronto in the Price deal and you all would have hated it had they done it.

the Tigers prioritized pitching above all else, so no, we were clearly [expletive] there

ehh they're not idiots. i can't imagine they'd pass up a better package based on need when it's about prospects.

"You all?" I don't even register prospects as being human beings.
