Is this like national "Get drunk and umpire an MLB game" week or something? Some terrible strike zones the last few games

The weirdest thing about the umpiring recently is that every other sport is making strong moves to *increase* scoring. Football has severely limited what defensive players can do, NHL has made moves to increase scoring, why would the MLB let umps collectively hurt the ability of baseball teams to score when its generally accepted higher scoring increases viewership? (I'm not sure if that is true, but its accepted as true)

Even though I have no reason to doubt Rondon, I always get more nervous in these games where we stopped scoring 6+ innings ago.
