I wish Rondon could locate his pitches. Control isn't a huge concern but command is. If Rondon could figure his [expletive] out and Strop can develop into his potential.. Ramirez, Rondon, Strop would be nasty 7,8,9 with Grimm being the stand-in for any of them. If I had to pick a closer on the current roster, I'd have to go with Strop. He seems to fit the role best.

Great day all around. Cubs win while the Cards, Pirates, Mets and Giants all lose.

 

Cubs still haven't won or lost more than two in a row since winning six straight May 11-16.

Wait, what's wrong with Strop? He had 2 bad outings back-to-back in May but has been pretty good other than that. He's been unhittable outside of 4 outings.
