I'm calling BS on the English as a 2nd language nonsense.

I got into the cubs due to my father back when i was a baby over 35 years ago. After he passed some years ago I was left being the only cubs fan among my friends / family who are predominantly Sox fans. No matter what I say about the cubs, its pointless I face nothing but criticism. So.. I dont talk baseball to anyone lol -- #thrustory

I lived in Japan for 6 years between 96-02 and was shocked how there was a subway attached to nearly every gas station outside of the city in the midwest when i got back

All signs point to you spending about 30 years in the Midwest. Punctuation isn't foreign to you.

even started a rant thread about it

 

now (on message boards) i pretty much only use it when it's necessary for the words to make sense (and apostrophes and parenthesis)

 

unless i'm in a super serious debate and then i get all grammar and punctuation-ey
