How many posts would be in these threads if there were no posts talking about how we're going to lose and no posts about how umpires are the worst things on Earth? Like 8?

was he definitely safe? why wouldn't the nationals talk the umpire into looking at it? the nationals broadcast (which SUCKED) bailed out almost immediately, then the post game show found the worst replay imaginable.

If he was as definitely safe as you guys are saying, why in the world is the game over

Robot umps are required, but would occasionally go against our interests.

Yeah, I can't believe the Nats announcers were so quick to say he was out. With the way they'd been complaining all night (rightly so) I figured they'd have questioned that call more. That needs to be an automatic review.

Rizzo never got the arm and basically tagged him in the face. meanwhile, the left hand had reached the base quite a bit of time previously. Injury. Insult. Game over.

People are going to blame Rondon after this loss but it's 100% on the offense blowing chance after chance

actually, people are just going to be happy after they win.

Come on, what name did this ARCubsFan guy post under before? He's cynosure, right?

Crack Wilson?

I can't believe how many breaks we got tonight, but honestly for the throw beating him by that much, he should be out anyway, and that's probably why the Nats didn't throw much of a fit.

Sometimes leaders must make difficult decisions in the interest of the greater good. This is not one of those times. Just kill tapatalk, Tim.

the other angles showed he was never close to his left arm. this is the angle that shows rizzo didn't get his right arm in time.
