It just wouldn't be right if the Cub got too many breaks in one inning.

I wonder if Bryant's K's and weak contact lately will make pitchers want to challenge him more. That's when it could start raining dongs.

every time I think I can't love Len and JD any more, they go and do something like make Ned Ryerson references.

I'm just going to say it. This team plays better at night.

Total agreement

CUBS are 8-4 (.667) under the lights.... 5-5 (.500) in the daytime.

Go CUBS !!

Hammel hasn't been great, but he's keeping them in it at least.

Castro w/ a 6-3 groundout might be the most predictable thing ever right now

Yes, his failing increases the likelihood of future success.

I don't even know what to think any more.

yep.

Exactly.....can't believe the dog squeeze that Soler continues to swing at lately.....then he doesn't even make an attempt to beat the throw on the pass ball(I would bench his ass for a game or 2 if we had anything remotely worth putting out there). Castro and his DP balls.....CC running in quick sand in the OF<----this is the most frustrating to me.....how is he THAT bad..... slow footed, terrible jumps and angles...?

The Cardinals have scored 3 runs not counting extras in their series vs Pittsburgh and they are going to sweep them. Shocking.

i'm okay with them sweeping the pirates

The ball didn't get very far behind the catcher. It was only important that Soler force a throw so Fowler could for sure make it to 3rd. It's for the best if Soler doesn't run 100% every time.
