Whats your favorite sports show besides Sports Center. PTI, Highly Questionable, Around the Horn....30 for 30? Or something else.

do you like thick onion gravy?

if so, do you keep some in a tupperware container in your car?

I have found that while my interest in sports has not declined with age, my interest in "sports entertainment" has shrunk to almost imperceptible levels.

In college I would watch sportscenter 4-5 times a day. I gave up all espn shows probably sometime around my first year out of college. No interest.

I will throw on some sports talk if there is a big transaction happens. But that is the extent.

I watch PTI because Kornheiser and Wilbon are funny together (and the replacements, except for Bob Ryan and the horrible human being Jason Whitlock, are generally entertaining when they have them as well) and to make sure I didn't miss anything while keeping Twitter open during the day. Outside of that I don't watch sports shows, just games.

i wonder how much of this is growing out of it, and how much is the way we consume sports and news in general now

i used to look forward to the paper every morning, and i'd watch sportscenter 4-5 times a night.

now there's twitter and internet highlights and stuff... for the past 10+ years the only time i've turned on ESPN has been for actual sporting events.

Once I learned that I know a lot more about the sports I care about than the talking heads deign to discuss on air, I figured I could skip it. I'm sure they know more about the mechanics of each sport than me, but they hardly ever get into that kind of thing.

Heck, I usually watch games with the sound off except for Len and JD.

ESPN prefers style over substance. Their style has gotten progressively suckier over the past couple of decade. I do not watch. Edited by PackLandVA
