So Cubs moved high A team to Myrtle Beach to avoid rainouts.... hows that working out? Pelicans rained out again today

Are you just bitter they moved the high-A team out of your state, unclear on how sample sizes work or oblivious to how tough it is to get summer games played in the FSL?

I mean, Myrtle Beach had 3 rainouts all of last season while Daytona had 22.

Much better start from Clifton today. 7/1 in 5IP, no runs allowed.

That made me smile. He's got upside. I love it when the guys taken in rounds 10-15 do well.

Bijan Rademacher - 13th round 2012

Trevor Clifton - 12th round 2013

Kevonte Mitchell - 13th round 2014

Jeremy Null - 15th round 2014

Especially the more raw, high upside guys like Clifton and Mitchell. Rademacher impressed me a bit when he had a really solid season in High-A and even some early success in AA. I'm always skeptical of success at the lower levels for college picks. Null has looked very consistent if not dominant so far, but I want to see how he does as he progresses up through High-A and AA. Clifton and Mitchell, drafted out of high school, are more toolsy. When they do well early on, it catches my eye.

Clifton was a top 5 round talent that fell due to bonus demands and being a bit rawer than what teams felt they could spend their early round slot money on.
