I think maybe the simplest way to think about it is by focusing on the trio of Castillo, Olt, and Bryant. They can't/won't have all 3 on the roster at the same time. They'll try to trade Castillo now, but with Bryant starting in Iowa there is some space if they want to hold out for the best value they can get for Castillo. When it comes time to bring up Bryant, they might be able to hold out a little longer if Olt is terrible, but there's diminishing returns to holding out further into the season when Castillo isn't getting time. There's some other more minimal possibilities, but I think this covers 90+%.
