Week 3: Bears (1-1) @ Jets (1-1) MNF 7:30 PM ESPN

Bostic unofficially in on 15 tackles. Rough last drive with a dropped INT and weak penalty, but he played every snap, I'm pretty sure.

Arrow is really pointing up for the young guys. Bostic, McClellin have taken huge steps up this year. Sutton did well until he apparently tired out late. Conte has been solid this year when on the field. Who knows if he'll be back anytime soon. Fuller is obviously the league MVP. What a difference 3 games makes.

@ESPNChiBears: Ryan Mundy suffered a serious stinger.

Assuming that means he will be playing next week.

I have a hard time believing Conte will be though.

The Jets 5 drives into the Red Zone with no TD are the most such empty drives the Jets have had in any game under Rex Ryan

Holy [expletive] kyle fuller is going to be a Sherman level cover guy in this league

Yes. Potential top 5 CB in the league within a year.

McCray finished the game, Mundy is apparently okay, which means that hopefully we won't be missing more than Conte for GB. With Ratliff and McClellin hopefully returning next week, we should be OK. Worried about Marshall though, wouldn't be surprised if he took a week off.

Early returns on this draft are fantastic. Fuller, Ferguson, Sutton, and Vereen all making plays.

We all asked for a middle-of-the-pack defense, and it appears we may have one.

It'll be interesting to see if Garza gets his job back. No way he should. I'd sign DLP to a 2-year extension today if necessary. Really could use Slauson back as Ola is getting progressively worse. If Conte has to miss time, I hope the Bears give Vereen a shot. McCray isn't very good at all. Vereen allows the Bears to do a lot more on the back end with coverages.

Looks like Jets fans are really gravitating towards "we would've won if the refs wouldn't have jobbed us".

Who gives a [expletive]?

They did get jobbed by the refs but it's neither here nor there now. We're banged up and got a win in a tough road environment against a defense that makes games ugly. Don't care at all about quality of victory under the circumstances.

I just always enjoy reading opponent reactions. UMFan and I are similar like that.

How did Bostic not recover that

Uhh he was well out of bounds?

I don't blame them. That pass interference on Jeffery was an interesting call and of course the fumble should have been returned for TD.

I didn't get enough sleep last night so I can't remember, but I commented on the final drive that the calls are evening up...I remember the challenge of the spot that could have been overturned, and I remember a blatant offensive holding call missed on a drive where Bostic got called for defensive holding (which was an iffy call). Was there anything else fishy I missed that went against the Bears?

How did Bostic not recover that

You mean other than the fact that he made a tackle resulting in him having had his head on the other side of the player and couldn't see the ball come out, plus driving the receiver and himself a couple yards out of bounds?

of all the people who could've recovered that ball on that play, bostic is a really odd choice to call out

Nope, wasn't Bostic, it was the guy trailing who doesn't show up in the Gif. For some reason I thought the third guy was 57. Was it DJ Williams? Anyway, how did he not just run over and pick up the ball? Instead he flopped down on it with his foot out if bounds Edited by minnesotacubsfan

Was it him or Fuller that ended up touching it out of bounds? DJ Williams should have recovered the fumble in bounds but one of those 2 got to it first...not a very heads up play.
