I don't think it's fair to Bridgewater to run him out there with no AP as an option. Probably a big reason Cassel was bad today, though I admittedly didn't watch any of that game.

That's a legit argument. Though Asiata ran pretty well and CP is a very good weapon too.

Just start with Bridge then. 2 games yields zero additional development.

I would have, but I can also understand why they would have wanted to try to give Bridgewater as much extra development time as possible though. If the result is going to be Cassel keeping you from even being competitive in games, though, you have to do something else.

My position is it doesn't have to be Bridgewater. It could be Ponder, but if Cassel is going to play this bad - with his history - you can't keep running him out there.

Alex Smith just ran about 3-4 yards past the line of scrimmage before passing the ball. It was the most blatant illegal forward pass I've ever seen.

Had he just held the ball and ran, he'd have put the Chiefs in FG position. Instead, they had to punt.

Haha, exactly. The announcers treated it as if he just barely crossed the line.

Nantz said he thought it might be a step or two over and Simms wondered if his entire body was across the line.

Bills dominating the Dolphins makes me feel ever so slightly better about last week with the Bears I guess.

The fact that the bears, such as they are full strength, will be playing without their offensive playmakers against a good team on the road in front of 40mln tv viewers should make you feel awful.

I like how some people keep bringing up the national TV thing being so humiliating, like the Bears being terrible would be some kind of secret they could get away with if they were just on locally.

Let's see when Chris collinsworth homes in on cutlers body language from the second quarter on.

Geez, nice loss of composure there, Muhammad Wilkerson.

And a player for the Packers knocked Sheldon Richardson's helmet off and no penalty?

The Jets probably wish they had Revis still rather than Milliner.

[expletive] that, the refs screwed the Jets over.

If you get a last second timeout request (like in jets game), you grant it.

You don't have time to turn around and see who is calling it.
