That Arizona game was much more a case of "There's no way the Bears should have won that game". This was "The Bears really dominated the second half of that game. I'm not sure exactly how, but they were clearly the better team the second half."

The last 1.5 quarters. Don't forget SF's 9 minute FG drive.

Yes. Which made the comeback all the more remarkable

Where does it rate on the Dennis Green scale?

Radically different. It was very quiet and dumbfounded.

yeah, i posted about how absolutely stunned he looked at the post game presser.

watching the replay, i'm not sure how Cutler finished with so few passing yards. he's throwing on every play and chewing up huge chunks of field.

because that really only happened for one drive in the first half and they didn't have far to go too often in the 2nd

Unfortunately I only caught the last few seconds of it. I did set it to record later last night though. So yay.

lol, all i said was it seemed like he had more yards that he did, i didn't say he had more yards than he did.

The way he paws at him is hilarious.

it's like Marshall brought an autistic fan with him to the presser to raise awareness.

My wife insists he's on the spectrum somewhere.

i think it's pretty obvious that he has tourette's, at least a little bit.

yep, i've always thought that. those twitches are exactly like a friend my brother had when i was growing up.

If I weren't a Bears fan, I'd want to murder Cutler.

I know you aren't alone but I cannot understand this thought process.

It seems to me that the complaint centers around the fact he doesn't play the smooth pr savvy game with the media that guys like Drew Brees or Peyton Manning might. He doesn't care to put on a show there. I don't see how that bothers anybody but the beat guys looking for stories that write themselves.

I think we should embrace guys who don't play the PR game, whether they are on our team or not.

and all i said is the reason it seemed that way is because he had some short fields on the second half scores and only really had one good drive in the first half lol

that and the fact that he had 4 TD passes while doing so making it all the more epic seeming

plus a good chunk of yardage came on penalties.

yup. especially the one to end the first half iirc

Well if we're gonna play the "penalties helped" game, it should be pointed out that he got at least one chunk of yardage taken away by a pretty sketchy challenge, too. And another on the penalty on forte stepping out of bounds.

But ultimately, he took care of the ball, and the couple of risks he took, in my opinion, were pretty calculated, came at a time when the offense was stalling, and when he really only had one guy he could throw to consistently...Bennett. He had to try to make some things happen by forcing some pretty tough throws.
