Welcome to beautiful AT&T field at Microsoft Park. I'm Aron Johnson with your Budlight lineup. In the Floorscheim Shooes lead off spot is Scoter McGee. Hitting in the Johnson & Johnson clean up spot is Boog Dickbag,... And batting in the Massengale Douche 9th hole is our pitcher. Now for the play by play sponsored by Ford is Vin Wells. Take it away Vin. Thanks, that line up was brought to you by the good folks who make Prozac.

I'd be fine with MLB uniforms being filled with adverting like Nascar if it meant more revenue for the team. It wouldn't affect me enjoying the game any more or less.

The only way it benefits the Cubs is if they are allowed to keep all their revenue from the advertising; and I have big doubts that MLB would let this happen without structuring it as a shared revenue situation. The only people that benefit in that are the owners.

i want to say that i dont care about advertising on uniforms but i really do. plus, it's not like one team is going to do it and get a leg up on everyone else. it's going to be all teams doing it and they're all going to make a little more money, but since everyone is doing it, there's no advantage and all we have is a bunch of owners who are a little richer than they were before.

this is how i feel

as rational as i like to be, looking at those pictures is even worse somehow than what i was visualizing. [expletive] all that.

There is nothing irrational about not wanting to see that on the uniforms. It will provide very little, if any, benefit to the team on the field. It will only serve to make the owner more rich. And it looks like [expletive].

Correct, all of this.

don't think it's irrational to not want to see it. do think it's irrational to care a lot. i'm still watching my favorite team play baseball. but i would. that would really bother me.

If it wouldn't mean the team actually getting more money, then [expletive] it. The only way I'm behind it if it's mean they have more money to spend.

Well, yeah, I don't think anyone is wanting to add them purely for aesthetics

It looks crappy in large part because those mock ups plastered a logo nearly on top of the existing. If the uniforms were redesigned and it looked basically like soccer uniforms I'd have a hard time REALLY caring, though may be a little annoyed. It wouldn't effect my enjoyment of the actual game though.

It's bad enough there is a muther [expletive] Walmart ad plastered in the dugout.

those of you claiming you'd be totally ok with this are never ever ever allowed to complain about any ugly uniform the cubs may wear

Even a NASCAR-style mess would be better than the blue shirts. They haunt me.

That was my too subtle attempt at renaming Wrigley while we're at it.
