I saw Johan Santana strike out 17 at the Metrodome against the Rangers back in 2007. Sammy had two hits for the Rangers that day, I think. Now that I look it up, Sammy had the only two hits for the Rangers.

I can't decide the best part: Derosa, Z's face or the entirety of Soriano.

Or Sinatro walking off to the side with a "oh, you crazy kids"-look on his face. Everything/everyone in that pic could not be more perfect.

Why is it impossible to find video of that Milwaukee walkoff on the internet??

This video at least has the White Sox one, which I think was in 08...

I've been to some memorable games in Cincy the last decade -- Sammy's 500th HR, ARam's 3-homer game (2006?), the clincher back in '07 with the Soriano lead off homer, and last but not least, THE ESTES GAME.

I saw Sammy's first game back from the corked back suspension, Maddux's first game back as a Cub, A-Ram's 3 HR game, and a Soriano 3 HR game too all in Cincy

His first game back from the cork suspension was the best. All of the Reds fans were booing the [expletive] out of him, and then he hit an absolute bomb off of the batter's eye (had to be over 450 feet).

ETA: He's had... a lot http://m.mlb.com/video/search?query=aramis+walk+off

THANK YOU

now my complaint is that it's not in HD

Wow, I did not expect to hear Len's voice on there...for some reason I always feel like he's "newer" than he is.

I'm the opposite.

Hearing Stone and Chip startles me and feels like 30 years ago.

Same. It's a brief and best forgotten time.

I have been to some pretty memorable games:

Harry Caray's broadcast from the center field bleachers was my first Cubs game ever. A hooters girl sat on his lap and everyone went crazy. I was 7 and it was awesome.

Mark Priors debut

The "Todd Walker slide" against the A's

Back to back to back homeruns by Fred McGriff, Rondell White, and Todd Hundley.

Ramirez and Alou go back to back in the fourth and then Sammy & Alou go back to back to win the game

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=240416116

Game 1 of the NLCS against the Marlins. I know I have said it before here but the roar the stadium made when Sammy hit the homer in the ninth is the loudest I have ever heard.

Ryno retirement day

Santo retirement day

The day after Sammy corked the bat - nobody paid attention to the game and there were so many shouting matches between fans about Sammy the "cheater" and i saw 1 fight break out in the bleachers. F'd up game.

Sammy's 60th

Sammy's 61st

Kerry Wood hits a HR the first day back from his DL stint

Greg Maddux's first start against the Cubs as a Brave. So many people boo'd and I felt like me and my bro were the only ones that cheered. I was 15 and already knew the penny pinching ways of the Cubs. :(

Lou Piniella's epic meltdown in 2007 where the idiots in the bleachers threw trash on the field and delayed the game like 20 minutes.
