I've been to some memorable games in Cincy the last decade -- Sammy's 500th HR, ARam's 3-homer game (2006?), the clincher back in '07 with the Soriano lead off homer, and last but not least, THE ESTES GAME.

I was at the Estes game and a couple of games in September 08, one of which I believe Wood blew after we had already hit the road to go head home. Same day that the Bears beat the Colts and Forte went nuts in his first game.

I witnessed a Darwin Barney walk off home run, that's pretty monumental...

The game in '07 when they went percentage points ahead of the Brewers for the first time after being down how many ever games it was, it was a walk off HBP or wild pitch.

I drove up from Louisiana during my freshman year to catch Lance Dickson's MLB debut. I was so young and innocent back then.

Bolded is pretty much the only notable game I've ever been to. I did see Soriano's walk-off slam against Houston, though, which was pretty sweet.

Ok, here's my list.

Pretty exciting:

Maddux 3000 K

Griffey 500 HR

Favre all-time passing yardage record

Marcus Allen all-time rushing TD record

Furcal unassisted Triple Play

Sosa's franchise-setting HR 545

Miguel Cabrera clinching the Triple Crown

Kind of cool:

Lance Berkman is scared of lightning/there's a tornado over there game

Soriano walkoff grand slam (and Aaron Miles and Justin Maxwell)

The Prior game chronicled in Three Nights in August

Sosa 486 foot (I think that was the distance given) HR off Randy Johnson (6/9/99)

Cubs win 1-0 on Scott Servais HR (8/5/95)

Steve Trachsel gives up leadoff 2B to Brian Hunter and then does not allow hit for the rest of the game* (5/13/96)

*Also, first game at Wrigley and where I learned to keep score. I think my parents still have the scorecard.

I saw Sammy's first game back from the corked back suspension, Maddux's first game back as a Cub, A-Ram's 3 HR game, and a Soriano 3 HR game too all in Cincy

i was at the last postseason game the cubs won. i'll never forget the atmosphere after the game. the cubs fans wouldn't leave, and we were all 100% positive that the cubs had just won the pennant.

no way they lose 3 in a row with z, prior, and wood going

I saw Maddux's last AAA start and his first MLB start. The AAA start was just luck, wasn't planning on that one, a friend of mine called and was going and had an extra ticket.

We'd bought the Chi Cubs tickets well before he was called up.

That's how it felt being at the clincher in 2008. Nobody wanted to leave and the players were living it up and it seemed like nothing was gonna stop them.

I was at that 2007 game also. We had poor seats, sitting in the last row against the chain link fence just to the right of the press box. The atmosphere was the best, especially after the Cubs won on the wild pitch.

We went to the 2008 game in Milwaukee when the Cubs beat the Brewers against CC Sabathia. The Cubs were up by a game at the start of the four-game series that ended in a Cubs sweep and a five-game lead. Other than beating the unbeatable (at the time) Sabathia, my memory of the game was afterward. Drunk and douchy Brewers fans were trying to fight anyone in a Cubs jersey.

Pretty sure I watched this on TV - I remember thinking he was going to be a beast - he had this huge curve ball - think he only pitched a couple time that year - never to return to the majors.

No, but I pretended like I was for years afterwards every time I looked at my desktop.

I still maybe think that me not going to church like I promised to all of the gods if Aramis hit it out kinda fucked over the Cubs ever since.

Also, I was at both games of the back-to-back one hitters from Jon Lieber and Kerry Wood. Neon Deion was in CF for the Reds and the dude beside me in the bleachers kept yelling, "Papa! Talk to me papa!"

It was sorta fun to watch Deion pray with arms up to God when he took the field and also flip us off in the same afternoon.
