Anybody else catch the double-index-finger-point thing he did at the camera in the dugout after the HR? Haven't seen that since circa Jacque Jones. In fact, it's my favorite memory of Jacque Jones.

was he like the white Ozzie Smith or something?

The competition wasn't much better. That was a pretty weak rookie class.

Holy dogcrap you weren't kidding. That AL class is PALTRY. Jesus. The NL had some studs that year though.
