Charcer Burks is 6 for 13 with a pair of doubles in his first few games at Boise. He doesn't turn 20 until next year and was a slight overslot in the 9th round last year. Will be interesting to see how strongly he can finish out the year and if he's at all considered for KC next year.

And the award for best impersonation of Kyle when it comes to talking down about a Cubs prospect and then watching as said prospect goes on a tear goes to Vinestal for his work with Addison Russell.

Chone Figgins sighting!

And he grounds out to former mega-prospect Andy Marte.

When you see a brawl like that, you expect Low A or rookie ball, but half these guys are former big leaguers, though mostly AAAA. Hell, we had Kameron Loe for about a minute and a half last year. And all I remember of him looking like somebody you'd want on you side during this kind of melee.

The average is rising... and the HRs are many

Javy's second HR last night was incredible. Definitely one of the longest home runs I've ever seen. Hard to compare to MLB parks and no one could know where it landed but it cleared those signs and left the park by a ton.
