Well looks like the plan is to tank the second half..I think TheoCo wants one more top 5 pick next year before the first wave comes up.. This may be the last time for a while we get a top 5 pick since we will be competing with our young nucleus finally coming together and no longer be in sell mode..I'm okay with the losses right now since it's obvious we aren't competing yet and going anywhere ( I'm not cheering for losses, I want them to win, I'm just not getting pissed off or upset if they lose) . As long as the core guys like Castro and Rizzo are tearing it up , that's all that matters right now is the young guys developing..Barney,Russell,Schierholtz and most of these other guys don't matter since they won't be here and apart of it..Like Theo said " There's no glory in 78 wins instead of 73, who cares?"

 

I cannot [expletive] wait until we get rid of scraps like Jackson and Barney.

after the fact, i'm fine with losses as long as rizzo and casto (and arrieta) do well, but while watching i absolutely want wins and am bothered by losses. is that weird?

i'm just not bothered after losses like i would be if the team were legitimately competing for something. in 08, a loss put me in an at least slightly shitty mood until the next day.

 

but i still care enough to watch games and care about them while they're going on.
