Hooray for Valbuena.

So what the [expletive] was up with Olt? Did he ever actually have a good stretch or did he just effectively luck into some home runs off of some juicy pitches? I tire of him and wish to see him cast into the sea.

he literally can only hit fastballs and now after hitting a few for HRs, he sees (relatively) none

Even when he was "good" he wasn't hitting much in terms of LD's; what a sad bust.

Pittsburgh broadcast you could hear a fan yell "Lazy f@#$! piece of s#@" clear as day.

He does have a Starlin in his name.

he's more like a bizarro bust or something. we were expecting him to be awful and hoping he might be OK. don't think you can really count it as a bust when he turns out to be awful (unless you mean his career in general, of course)

Yes, definitely more of a bust for the Rangers.

Harrison just quickly checked to see if Whiteside was okay after hitting him with the back-swing. That is normal human behavior.

We wanted to believe, so the moment he showed signs of life, we did.

Fun little anecdote about Starlin from north

Starlin is now swinging at fewer pitches than the average MLB hitter, swinging at fewer pitches outside the zone than the average MLB hitter, making above average contact, and taking first pitches for balls 8% more.

If anyone calls Castro a "hacker" or "over-aggressive" again, I will just start to laugh about it.

League average BB rate: 8.1%

Castro: 5.4%
