If you're an annoying defeatist fan with a team like this then stop sports.

I agree but I can see their point, everyone here are Cub fans so maybe that's where it comes from.

But they are also presumably Blackhawks fans. You remember the Blackhawks, the team that has won two of the last four Cups and 12 playoff series in the last six years, including one against our biggest rival last year when they were down 3-1?

But they are also Bears fans -- that team skating to the playoffs until their QB goes down in crushing fashion.

And Bulls fans -- that team setting up for a multi-year run at the playoffs only to see it all ripped away mercilessly with injury. Twice.

And Cubs fans. The reality of being a Cubs fan doesn't get wiped away by the Blackhawks winning a couple Cups. Only the ultimate can do that.

Cut people some slack. All I'm saying.

This post is the most amazingly punchable thing ever. I'm pretty sure this happened as I read it:

And then I yearned to do this:

Team barely pulls it off on home ice. Look for a blowout loss in LA on Friday.

either way, you don't deserve this team

No, I don't deserve a bunch of pathetic losers.

If the Blackhawks played this poorly during the regular season then they would have been top contenders for the No. #1 overall draft pick.

What a boring game that was. 18 shots on goal in an elimination game, only 6 per period.

The Eastern Conference is almost unwatchable most of the time.

With the New York Rangers and Kings still alive, Chicago technically is the nation’s No. 3 TV market in terms of overall viewers during the playoffs. But thanks to the avid following for the Hawks, the town is a clear-cut No. 1 in terms of delivering hockey viewers.

The numbers tell the story. Prior to Thursday’s Rangers-Montreal game, New York was averaging a 4.1 rating for Rangers games during the playoffs; Los Angeles is at 1.7 for Kings games. Meanwhile, Chicago checks in at a robust 13.4 for Hawks playoff games.

While being careful not to play favorites in the Western Conference final, Mike Emrick knows what the Blackhawks have meant to the NBC in recent years.

“It’s a magical time for hockey in Chicago,” Emrick said. “There’s a passion that is hard to discount. Even Mr. Fix-it on Saturday morning is talking Blackhawks hockey.”

The rating for the Hawks’ overtime victory in Game 5 really hammers it home. The game pulled a 16.3 rating in Chicago. It only did a 3.0 rating in Los Angeles even though the Kings had a chance to clinch a bid to the Final.

Time to get to work on Spotify.

That's a pretty good playlist... did you make it yet? If so, can you share it?

I started to this afternoon, but it's not done yet. Some artists aren't on there....like Tool and The Beatles. I'll let you know if I actually get it done.

A buddy of mine made the playlist if anyone is interested:

Looks like LA is planning for some sort of ceremony tonight.

It's the crap we blew our 3-1 lead ceremony.

i don't know how i feel about tonight. it's the most neutral i've felt in a long time about a game. hopefully hawks come out hot again and ride it back to chicago.

Neutral? I feel negative but more like 40-60 odds of winning. And put me in the camp that if we win this game we win the series...heck like Dan Bernstein said, win this game and we win the Cup.

Agree on the 40/60.

Who is this bimbo? Being introduced as a Vegas headliner isn't exactly a badge of honor is it? Maybe in LA.

Jesus just bring Cornelison in to sing the anthem in road games too. Every other team has awful singers and for some strange reason that matters in hockey.
