Seems like they've dominated possession all period but have one goal to show for it. Outside of the goal, not getting much in the middle.

Dominated possession until they pulled the goalie

Yep. Felt like the Kings were up a man instead of the other way.

Hawks are 7-3 in elimination games with Q.

That's 4-1 at home, 3-2 on the road.

Win game 5, extend our streak of series with a road win in game 6, then anything happens in game 7.

Very frustrating to watch the last few games. Maybe I'm an idiot but I do not think L.A. is a better team. I can handle losing when you're outmatched but the Hawks have more talent IMO. I know it's not over yet but they put themselves in a very tough spot.

Wow. Every PK is a goal. Every PP is scoreless.

This is complete domination. Raanta please

I don't have a great eye for hockey, but I feel like Crawford has been hung out to dry a LOT in this series. I'm seeing a lot of Kings camping out in front of Crawford with little intervention.

Right, but the same thing happened quite a bit in the STL and MN series, and Crawford was up to the task. Goalies have to bail out their teams in the playoffs. He's not doing it at all. And his angles are off. I know he was screened, but that first goal last night was terrible.

They look done to me. Played a ton of hockey over the last couple of years.

Kings have only played 3 less games of hockey of the last 2 years, and considerably more over the last 3 and look to be firing on all cylinders. Also, the Kings have had a considerably more grueling run in this year's playoffs. Only 2 more games played but the Hawks had several days rest between each series and I believe the Kings had 1 day off between each series. I guess the major difference is the Hawks had 10 Olympians and the Kings 6.

Hold serve at home and win one on the road. Basically the same spot we've been in since after game two.

I hate when hockey fans say that kind of thing. There's a huge difference between 3-1 and 1-1.

The idea when you have home ice is to hold serve. We lost a game on home ice, now we have to get it back (having to win one of one on their ice as opposed to one out of three) and still win all our remaining home games. It's just a nice way to simplify a tough situation so fans can have happy thoughts and stuff. There really isn't much point in saying that winning 3 straight is harder than winning 3 of 5 because no [expletive].

The Olympics is what I was referencing. They look slow to react defensively . It's not certain that is due to fatigue, but that would be a good guess.

sometimes you just run into a buzzsaw. it happens. blackhawks have done it over the years, was bound to catch up to them.

They could still win the series.

The way they're playing..yeah no.

Put the kool aid down.

They aren't playing right now. There's no game tonight.

The way they play tomorrow may or may not have any resemblance to the way they played in the last 2.3 games.

Woo hoo

ESPN Chicago @ESPNChiHawks

Blackhawks lines were Bickell-Toews-Hossa, Saad-Shaw-Kane, Sharp-Handzus-Versteeg, Bollig-Kruger-Smith.

Line rushes don't reflect what lineup will be. Last game shows that. But I hope this turns out to be true.
