That matches pretty much with the eye test from yesterday. Slauson really got eaten alive by Suh all day. Fairley too at times. Neither did all that much against Long, though he wasn't getting great push either.

I thought Bostic played really well.

Posted in other thread but Peanut out for rest of regular season. Placed on IR.

Also McCown likely to start Sunday.

Is the McCown thing speculation or something that was said?

Educated speculation if that makes sense

Now being reported that he will be out Sunday

Hearing 4-6 weeks now for Cutler due to a high ankle sprain. Tillman going to IR is a bigger problem.

This damn season is over. Like someone else said, it has 8-8 and the 16th-18th draft pick written all over it.

It's amazing how things went from hopeless, to hopeful after the GB game, then back to even more hopeless than before after this game.

McCown will be serviceable, but won't keep going at the pace he's gone thus far. Even if he did, the now Tillman-less defense will negate most of it.

This is playing out as a worse-case scenario. Mid first round pick and not enough time to evaluate Cutler if he's out 4-6 weeks. Have to franchise him now if he's back no sooner than 6 weeks.

So with Cutler and Tillman now injured, 4 of the Bears 6 highest paid players are missing extended time. Total salary of 34.3M sitting on the bench. And with Peppers being a shell of his former self, the Bears are only really getting above average production out of 1 of their 6 highest paid players (BMarsh)

Could make a good ass team with the players in the division missing significant time this year.

QB- Rodgers, Cutler

WR- Cobb, Burleson

TE- Finley

LT- Bulaga

DL- Melton, Collins

LB- Matthews, Briggs, DJ Williams

DB- Tillman, Hayward

I think they would lose every game on the line of scrimmage.

Plus, all those guys are injured so they won't play well.

in their current state, I think they might have a shot at beating the Jaguars #jokemadeoneweektoolate

Texans released Ed Reed. He has GOT to be better than any of the safeties on our roster, right?

No.

Definitely not.

Now there definitely is a free agent safety out there who is better than what the Bears have, but Kerry Rhodes might be gay so I guess no one can sign him.

So infuriating.

It's part of the culture of football, guys. So it's ok.

Carolina pulling off that win puts them in the driver's seat for that second wild card spot. I think that win hurt us more than our loss did.
