Brady?

Yup, he's been pretty bad this year. I'm sure his receiving group is partially the reason, but still.

It hasn't helped, but he's also been bad. PFF's grades have him 22nd in passing only. He's been worse than Brandon Weeden.

Brady is checking down way too much and his timing is way off with all his receivers. He's had a [expletive] of drops too. I haven't noticed a bunch of bad throws, though.

I've watched quite a few Patriots games, while his receiving corps is one of the worst in the league and the drops are factors, but he's been pretty awful on deep passes. I've seen him badly miss guys on 20+ yd passes fairly frequently.

I recall earlier this year people were having the revisited Manning v Brady debate in light of the early season events. The argument for Brady went something like 'well, look at who he's got at WR!, Manning has all of these great WR's -- Decker, Demaryius, Welker, but Brady is doing it with nobodies'. I think it was forgotten that Brady has yet to produce with the current group. The last time he had this weak of a supporting cast was probably 2006, and he didn't set the world on fire, despite team success.

I've watched most of them too. I chalked the deep passes up to timing/unfamiliarity issues. Of course, I could be swayed into blaming the WR by Brady throwing a hissyfit everytime there's an incomplete pass.

Not like Dallas is taking advantage of all these turnovers.
