That 2-minute drill is on Trestman. Terrible 2nd and 1 call. Compounded by wholesale changes to a "big" formation then back to 4-wide. Too much personnel changing places with time running.

 

The play calling was bad, but the spot that caused the play calling was much worse.

If I have a good defense I'm always going 4th and 2 or less inside the 10. Worst case should be short field when u get the ball back.

 

I was looking at it more from the TO aspect.

Yeah the spot was stupid. But couldn't challenge due to lack of timeouts.

Instead he cuts it outside and falls down at first touch when it takes 8 guys to tackle jacobs
