Speaking of the Wings, a trip to Detroit for old time's sake tonight for the Hawks. Honestly, we're over halfway through the season and I haven't missed the Wings on our schedule.

I kind of have, but not as much as I thought. I think it helps that unlike last year's brief season, we've had several games against the other Original 6 teams. It is kind of weird that we are like the estranged Original 6 team stuck all the way out in the Western Conference.

Yeah, the new schedule is awesome. It's great to have games against all of the Eastern Conference teams home and away. Teams like the Penguins, Flyers, Capitals, in addition to the O6 teams are always fun. Yeah, you get the worthless games against the Florida teams and Carolina, but overall, it's great.
