Has Dylan's roster been set? Is Truffle coming back after he said last year he was quitting?

What do you mean has his roster been set?

 

abuck said he could make some preliminary moves to add FAs so he has a keeper worth keeping.

 

that said, i'm not sure playoff rosters ever got reset back to pre-playoff Sunday lock date. That would need to be done first.

Clint's team seemed pretty loaded after his trade with Tim so I asked about a couple of players and we made the deal...good deal for me but Cain struggled last year and Beachy is coming out of TJS and had a setback so could easily blow up in my face.

After acquiring Scherzer, I could not keep Cain under my cap. I also see Cain on the decline. He has been a work horse having over 30 starts in eight consecutive seasons with no season under 184 innings. Since I've had Beachy he has spent more time on the DL than on the roster. With only 111 innings in two seasons he wasn't worth keeper status to me. There were other pitchers on my roster worth keeping.

 

I may have sold a little short only getting a 6th round MLB pick and 3rd round MiLB pick but in a 10 round draft where I already had three 8th round picks I could afford to give one up. Also, I'll have a couple empty minor league spots to fill and having given up my #1 MiLB pick in trade.

I saw an opportunity after Clint traded with Tim and took advantage. Clint got assets he would not have received by simply dumping Beachy and Cain so a win/win for both.
