The Reds starting pitcher is already out before the 2nd inning is done; I have this on mute and I'm lazy so I don't know who he is or what happened.

To save anyone else the time: the injured pitcher hasn't thrown that many 100+ pitch games this season. 109, 110, 118, 102, 103, 100 are the only 100+ counts

We thank Murphy for his freakshow and move on, correct? Or do you give him a guaranteed one year deal(for a mill or so).

Isn't he signed through 2014?

These [expletive] just might turn this season around.

Sorry to break the bad news but we were eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday :(

Maybe he meant to help knock the Reds out. Although it's silly how bad the second best teams in the E and W are.

He's got a bit over 4 years of service time, so I guess he is. Cots had nothing beside his name, which confused me.

JD with the good point wondering why Castro didn't end up on 2B while they were trying to throw out Jackson at home.

the pitcher did make a pretty good fake of cutting it off

Yeah, but Castro is fast enough that as soon as it was past the pitcher the 1B coach should have been sending him. It was obvious it was going to be a bang-bang play at the plate, so odds were that the catcher wasn't going to be able to throw out someone at 2B.

Yep, he should be under team control for 2 more seasons. I expect him back for ~850K or so with the chance to cut him if need be.
