Definitely a guy to watch. There was thought he might have been advanced enough to start in Boise.

Anyone else remember getting a little worked up over this scouting report during Javy's draft?

http://www.bbprospectreport.com/2011/03/11/javier-baez-report

Whoops.

Yeah, Baez was a high draft pick, he wouldn't have gone in the early first if he was simply a "nimble" (who the [expletive] says nimble?) middle infielder with good footwork, average range, and an "adequate" arm with no raw power and very limited offensive potential.

Baez was said to have the best bat speed in the whole draft. This guy just confused his reports.

Mike Olt and Brett Jackson each had a hit! Rubi Silva with 2 walks! It's a world gone mad

Does Shawon Dunston Jr already have more walks as a pro than his father?

He's only 8 away from his dad's season high.

Full moon.

And yes, Junior already has more walks (44) in 419 plate appearances than his father did in his entire minor league career (38 in 1525 PAs).
