Assuming that it's in reference to Soriano, it really does bear more relevance than it would to most players. Soriano's Cubs career has been such a mix of peaks and valleys, that no streak is going to be too hot or cold intl fooling anybody into thinking that he's no longer who he's been all along. It's sure looking like when the season draws to a close, he'll have his usual 25-30 HR and mid .700s OPS.
