What can they realistically do, though? There is nothing to gain from him playing in Iowa (if they could even send him there). The only thing I can think of is the phantom injury angle to give him time off and try to work through whatever issues he's dealing with. That or just keep letting him play through it. ](*,)

As terrible as the team is I really have no desire to see him put on the DL or sent down; it seems like just letting him struggle through it is the "best" thing to do. I guess it's a good thing he's having these growing pains in a throwaway year; hopefully that's all they are.

They might as well let him play it out. It's not like there's a playoff spot on the line. This is what we pay the coaches for, though, so it'd be nice if one of them could figure out what needs to change and get Castro to do it.
